*Panama of Tersk (Arax x Platina) was an elite Russian foundation mare who foaled five champions and three National winners within her lifetime. Five of her foals have also been producers of National winners. Sandspur was proud to have her as a resident broodmare until her death at age 37. *Panama of Tersk had a total of 18 progeny, her last two foals being Arius SS+/, our resident stallion, and Plamista SS, one of our resident broodmares.
*Panama of Tersk’s blood flows through many significant horses in the Arabian world, including *Panterra, Penelope DSA, Platashka SS, Khadraj NA and *Palitra, dam of Ponomarev. Such a dynasty gives *Panama of Tersk a special place in the history of Sandspur.
